6th Annual Little Black Dress Party Raises Over $75,000 For Women's Health

Alan Gieseman VP of White-Wilson Community Foundation welcomes the guests at the 2015 Little Black Dress PartyThe White-Wilson Community Foundation (WWCF) hosted the 6th annual Little Black Dress Party on Saturday, May 16. Over 350 guests filled the Sandestin Linkside Exhibition Hall for "A Night Under the Big Top," raising an impressive $75,000 for local women's health programs.

Guests enjoyed dinner, dancing and live and silent auctions. They were mesmerized by circus performances from Aerial Events, Cirque Lil' Dixie and stilt dancer Zayd Saleem. Those in attendance were also given a chance to try their luck at one of several carnival games. Honorary Chairs, Mike and Yvonne Freeman welcomed guests and served as hosts for the evening.

All event proceeds benefit the White-Wilson Community Foundation's women's health initiative. Through the success of last year's event, WWCF was able to help double the number of under-served women receiving breast cancer screenings and treatment in Okaloosa County, as well as award an additional $25,000 in local health grants. WWCF hopes to have an even greater impact through proceeds from this year's event.
